Private lessons are available in online or in person sessions. Online sessions will be conducted through Zoom or Skype, while presential lessons can be scheduled at my own house or at student’s chosen location.
Composition – western art concert music
Classes will be 1h to 2h individual sessions.
If the session is to happen at student’s chosen location, access to a computer, although not mandatory, is recommended.
Sessions will consist in developing the student’s capacity to create music for different types of vocal and instrumental combinations through the improvement of musical writing and creative abilities. Exploring the student’s own conceptual ideas, extensive work will be conducted on musical theory, writing techniques, aesthetics and orchestration among other subjects.
Composition – media music
Classes will be 1h to 2h individual sessions.
If the session is to happen at student’s chosen location, access to a computer is necessary.
Sessions will consist in developing the student’s capacity to create music for media applications using musical production software. Students will develop skills to create their own soundtracks, focusing on the creation of high-quality material.
Composition – orchestration
(both western art concert music and media music subjects)
Classes will be 1 to 2h individual or group sessions.
If the session is to happen at student’s chosen location, access to a computer, although not mandatory, is recommended.
Sessions will consist in developing the student’s knowledge and ability to write idiomatically for different instruments and voices. This will include the study of the different methods used in western art concert music and media music.
Conducting
Classes will be 1h to 2h individual sessions.
Sessions will consist in developing the student’s technical skills and rehearsing techniques. Along the studies, sessions with vocal or instrumental groups may be scheduled (organized by the teacher or the student) to provide the student with feedback on a practical environment.
